I was SO excited when Deb and Calvin chose to book in for a morning engagement session at Third Beach. This was my first engagement session of 2016 and I could not have been more excited to meet them at the crack of dawn in Stanley Park. There’s something about a quiet morning on the beach, waves lapping, fog rolling in, and frost still on the sand. It’s such a calming experience, and it was so nice to have the entire beach to ourselves, save a few early morning joggers and landscape photographers.

Deb and Calvin are incredibly sweet and kind to one another. They’re both so excited to do life together, whether that looks like catching a movie, going for a walk, or reading quietly together in the same room. They’re goofy, hilarious and they laugh together a lot (which seriously makes my job so easy). They’re also a little sarcastic, which I freaking love.

Deb and Calvin, congrats again on your engagement and thank you for choosing me to document your journey. I can’t wait for your Fort Langley Community Hall wedding next July, it’s going to be such a beautiful day.
