My work brings me a profound sense of joy. I’m so fulfilled by the connections that I’m able to make and inspired by the people that I photograph. I’m enriched by the creative process of it all and sharpened by the challenge of running my own business. Being a photographer is a special kind of magic… but it’s also hard work. And I adore every moment of it.
I'm not a person who simply shows up one day with a camera in my hand. No, this process is so much more than that.
I'm here to provide you with an experience. To act as a resource and a guide while you work towards one of the most important days of your lives. To foster a real connection, building and nurturing a relationship with you every step of the way. I'm here to understand your wedding hopes and dreams, and to bring you confidence. To create a space where your own personal brand of magic can happen and be immortalized in iconic photographs that take your breath away. It's an exciting process and I'm here to lead you through it every step of the way.
A little about me...
I grew up with my nose in a book, often near the water as my father is a fisherman. Some of my most cherished memories involve sitting on a bundle of nets in the sun on his boat, reading and periodically laughing at the sea lions barking on the dock. I'd sneak down to to the galley every now and then to steal a mini Mars Bar. Later in life I'd become a bit of a wanderer, playing college volleyball and living in three provinces. Falling in love with the changing scenery and seasons.
I've always been inspired by cinema and moved by music. When I find a movie that captivates me with a score that makes my heart ache, well that's heaven. I'm introverted, so photography gives me a wonderful reason to play the extrovert and experience life in that way. I'm romantic and nostalgic, creative yet still pragmatic.
I have a dog that I adore and a niece that I can't live without. I have wonderful friends that I cherish deeply. I dream of owning some land and a small hobby farm or rescue one day. I'll have some chickens, a donkey- definitely some goats.

Finn is a rescued 7 (or maybe 6) year old Belgian Malinois mix and he's the coolest, sweetest, most misunderstood muffin around.
If I'm not working, chances are I'm out exploring with this guy.
Timelines, emails, family photo lists, location scouts and more. The details and planning that are poured into a wedding in the months leading up to it have a HUGE impact on the success of the day, and I'm here for ALL of it.
About half of our wedding season takes place in the Okanagan, with the other half in the Vancouver area or on the island. I love the variety in locations and am always up for something new!
They should be held. Cherished. Gifted.
They should decorate the walls of your home and bring joy within the pages of heirloom albums.
A quick toast, a quiet tear, a burst of laughter.
These moments are the unsung heroes of your wedding day story, illustrating deep human intimacy
and connections.
I always look for beautiful light first. By letting the light lead I ensure that we're choosing locations where the lighting conditions elevate your portraits and enable us to create something truly stunning- no matter the time of day.
