Vancouver Loft Wedding Inspiration: A Collaboration

Get ready for a much needed does of moody//romantic//badass, Vancouver loft wedding inspiration. People ask me ‘Oh you must love off-season, you probably finally get a chance to relax!’ Well I mean yes, I get to sleep in a bit… but forget relaxing, the off season is the perfect time for CREATING. There’s nothin’ like getting together with a rad team of wedding vendors to build something beautiful from the ground up.

Collaborations are amazing:

-You get to meet and work with new people to create new concepts in new places.
-Everyone donates their time and hard work, and you really all pull together and give one another your very best.
-If you’re lucky you’ll have the opportunity to be featured by one of your favourite publications, and in this case we were lucky enough to be seen in Rocky Mountain Bride!

Collaborations all begin with an idea. In this case Natasha from Clearwater Events had the lovely idea of contrasting elements like concrete against soft flowing textures like fabrics and florals, and the team she pulled together really brought that concept to life:

The Loft at Earls provided the ideal location with it’s soft whites and sparkling chandeliers standing in stark contrast against the cold metal and wooden beams. While Blended by Amber worked her magic on our model Amanda’s hair and Alias Makeup enhanced her natural beauty, Junebug Events set up the beautiful ceremony arbour that would be framed by golden seating from Lonsdale Rentals. Our lovely stationary was beautiful created by Stay Magical Studios, and the unique concrete jewelry was skillfully crafted by Em’Say Handcrafted.

The tablescapes were skillfully pulled together and adorned with Lonsdale details, concrete diamonds created by Mind the Minimal, and a delicious cake made with love by Ganache PatisserieEvvie & Olive brought the HOUSE DOWN with their lush florals that were overflowing with textures, colours, and tied in PERFECTLY with the color scheme of the shoot. I mean honestly, the florals were a SHOW. STOPPER.

Add in a flowing Truvelle gown and sparkling Leah Alexandra ring and you’ve got a party!

See what I mean? Collab’s are a serious team effort, and they’re so important to refresh yourself as a creative, and an awesome way to stay inspired and connected. It was lovely to meet and work with so many new friends, and I’m beyond excited to work with these creatives again in the future. A huge thank you to everyone involved. Be sure to check out their individual work, each collaborator is incredible!

Now without further ado… your daily dose of wedding inspiration:
