I had SO much fun taking Jennifer & Alex’s engagement photos in Manning Park with their sweet boy Jayden and their bulldog Elvis! It was my first time at Manning (HOW) and holy cow was it snowy and gorgeous. It took a while to find an entrance that was actually open because there was so much snow still, but when we did we found the perfect spot. It turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day, and the little snowshoe/ski trail that we found had the perfect amount of open shade and reflected light from the snow.

Jenn and Alex are both incredibly sweet people and I am so exited for their Fraser River Lodge wedding in June! Jenn is so genuine and fun to chat with. When we met for the first time for a coffee consultation we ended up chatting for over three hours about all things wedding and life. It’s still one of my favourite consultation memories. I met Alex for the first time at the engagement session, and he was charming, kind, and a total jokester. As a couple they create a very warm and comfortable presence, and their son Jayden is just ridiculous. He’s SO. FREAKING. CUTE. When they pulled him around on the sled he was literally the happiest boy in the world!

I can’t wait for these two to tie the knot. I know it’s going to be one heck of a celebration and I can’t wait to photograph every detail! xo.
