Erin and Wes’s Deep Cove Engagement Photos are a set that I’ve been excited to share for a few months now (yes, yes I know… BLOG GIRL BLOG). This session was golden, I loved every minute. We met at Cates Park and totally lucked out because the park was fairly quiet (it can get quite busy) and the fall colours were out in full force. I’d been excited about this engagement session since their consultation (these guys have a viiiiiiiiibe going ON), and it did not disappoint!! They’re SO fun!

Erin and Wes met in their first year at school in Calgary, and together they’ve travelled, finished school, and built a pretty amazing life together. They’re cheeky, quick witted, and so much fun to spend time with. I laughed non stop during this engagement session and it is always SO refreshing to be around people that can just let go and have a good time. They chose Cates Park for their engagement photos because it’s a spot that’s near and dear to their hearts, and when we started shooting they were open to trying anything. Their non-stop banter and playful personalities meant that they were always laughing, which as you know is gold to a photographer. Throughout the whole session we captured so many images full of laughter, hair whipping, and teasing faces. I remember culling the set and thinking ‘How am I going to choose?!’

I can’t wait to hear stories about them from their friends and family, see photos from the early years of their relationship, and laugh with them as they tie the knot. They’re rad peoples, and I could not be more excited for them.
